Answering Questions to Boost Your SEO

What a week! All sorts of stuff going on – Website Rescue Reports, Consulting Calls, and now today – a new blog post over at The Minimalist Fisherman:

Fisherman’s Elbow Recovery Plan

This article does a few different things that will help with SEO on my site:

First: it answers several questions.

People go to Google and they ask questions. This entire article explains how I developed fisherman’s elbow, what it is, how the reader may have developed it, and what they can do about it – it also shares what I did to recover from my injury 100%.

Question & Answer Examples:
What is Fisherman’s Elbow?
How I Developed Fisherman’s Elbow
Fisherman’s Elbow Symptoms & Diagnosis
Relief & Recovery: Step 2 – Recovery Plan
Fisherman’s Elbow: Helpful Tips & Advice

This will help with organic search traffic.

Next: it quickly gets to the meat & potatoes of the subject matter. This will allow visitors to make sense of what they can expect in about 5 seconds, and this will reduce the bounce rate (the rate at which visitors hit the “back” button) on the page.

Google tracks bounce rate – and the lower my bounce rate is, the more Google is going to recommend this page.

Finally: the page offers a free elbow recovery & repair plan. This will help me build my email list, and it is also a value-add for anyone that came to the page looking for answers.

Simple – but effective.

A simple setup like this is probably worth testing on your website.

Consider it.

Enjoy the rest of your day, and get some work done!
