One of the most important tools when it comes to sales – yes, sales – is the ability to tell a story. If you’ve ever read any of the Funnel Courses offered by Russel Brunson, you know this is a big part of everything he pitches.
Your story, and your ability to tell it in a compelling way – that’s your hook.
(Well… hopefully one of many hooks!)
One of the best ways to practice this, is to do it. If you are not telling your story in both the written word, and in video form – you’re missing out.
This is a skill that you simply have to improve.
Recently I put pen to paper and wrote an article about The Worst Day of Creek Fishing. I’m working on improving my storytelling skill too, and had one goal – it wasn’t to sell anything, it wasn’t to get affiliate link clicks – it was to build rapport with my audience, and show them that I am a real person with struggles just like them.

Don’t shy away from telling the truth… often it’s our failures that resonate with readers at a much deeper level, as opposed to stories about our success.
Enjoy the rest of your day, and get some work done!
