One of the most important things you can do to promote your product while simultaneously building trust – and therefore, sales – is reach out to people that are willing to go “on the record” and create positive video reviews. When it comes to Lunker Trail and their 3-Second Fishing Rod Holder, I was happy to do this before they even asked.

After the video went live, I sent it to them.

Asked them if they wanted to use it.

After all, it was already done. It was a positive summary of their product, and I mentioned in the article just how fast they processed my order. As a random customer, I was extremely impressed.

They graciously accepted, and the video is going to go on their website and their social sites. That’s cool – it will help them! The added benefit though… is that it could also potentially help me.

I’ll get a backlink or two, some extra eyes on the video… and hopefully… a few new friends in an industry I am trying to break into.
